Demak Group is looking to hire a Sales Manager (European Market) for its chemical division, Demak Polymers, located in the north of Turin, specialised in manufacturing of resins for electrical insulation with applications in various sectors such as Automotive, Industry, Electronics, Lighting… etc.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Technical sales support to existing markets/clients to implement / strengthen relationships and scheduling visits to customers.
  • Finding new customers by promoting the launch of the Electrical Insulation/Potting Resins range in the assigned geographical areas.
  • Increasing the development of market for encapsulation resins (potting), gap fillers, thermal interface materials (TIM), focusing in the Automotive and Industrial sectors.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies, action plans and their implementation;
  • Contribute to create sales budgets for assigned areas/projects and future business opportunities (forecasting).
  • Providing detailed reporting about activities in progress and in the pipeline.
  • Providing market analysis of performance, competitors, corrective action, ect.
  • Project management of the various phases by liaising with all relevant company departments.
  • Management of commercial negotiations in agreement with company guidelines and Sales Department.
  • Supporting business partners and monitoring their business missions;
  • Availability to regular travel activities to manage customer relationship.

 

Skills required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or similar experience in developing technical expertise;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B sales of technical products, preferably in the field of electrical insulation or related materials (sealants/adhesives/paints);
  • Strong commercial relations skills, with a strong focus on results to be achieved;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer focus in developing new business, building and maintaining existing;
  • Ability to solve technical/commercial problems independently (problem solving);
  • Excellent team building skills;
  • Good MS Office skills;
  • Good use of social networks;
  • Excellent English, additional language skills (French, Spanish, German, etc.) appreciated.
